COVID-19: Guidelines for HCP Crew
With the increasing number of confirmed cases, precautionary measures to help prevent the spreading of the virus are to be taken. As we care for your safety and everyone's, here are some guidelines:
1. 15-DAY RULE for disembarking seafarers - Seafarers are advised not to come to the office for at least 15 days upon arrival, regardless of country of origin. Self-quarantine to be recommended even if not coming from risk countries. Self-quarantine guidelines as per Department of Health: http://bit.ly/DOHHQGuide
2. Please keep in touch with your Crewing Officer via telephone, mobile or email. Report to your Crewing Officer through phone or you may come to the office 15 days after arrival.
3. Seafarers may send in their documents via courier (e.g. LBC). Please address it to your Crewing Officer/Assistant. Temporarily, the Family Medical Assistance Benefit (MAB) termination period is extended to 20 days from arrival in the Philippines when documents are not submitted.
