A week into enhanced community quarantine over Luzon, clearer policies and guidelines for OFWs were put into place:

Enhanced community quarantine in effect but they have relaxed rules on OFWs. Those with Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) can leave and as long as international flights are still available. However, there are currently no more domestic flights going to and from Manila from Visayas and Mindanao.
For now, a crew change shall only push through if it is an emergency like an illness or accident.
Crew who were scheduled to arrive in the Philippines these past few days were monitored by HCP and have safely made it back into the country. They have also been requested to self quarantine.

HCP staff are working from home and are able to talk with our seafarers. Alternatively, you may also call your own Crewing Officer to ask about your status.

We are hopeful that the world can overcome this health crisis, and when it does, we will be prepared. We can only fight this virus if we work together and do our part--as simple as staying at home and social distancing. To our crew, please be mindful not only of your health but your safety as well.
