About the Resource Speaker: Coach Joe Dulay

Coach Dulay, who once conquered paralysis yet became one of the finishers of the 2011 Filipino Kona Ironman was invited to speak and be part of the pilot run to spark inspiration to all its participants.

It could be recalled that Dulay’s paralysis was a result of a brain surgery which he underwent after being diagnosed with Cerebral Arteriovenous Malfunction, a malformation of blood vessels in the brain which causes internal bleeding.

In a private interview, Coach Joe said he moved to the Philippines to inspire and help Filipino athletes. He can be reached via email at joe.q.dulay@gmail.com.
