HCP OFFICE SAFETY RULES as of July 2, 2020

HCP Crew who are in the Philippines must follow these rules as they process their employment with us. This is to protect both crew and our staff so that we can get you onboard without endangering anyone’s health and safety. These rules may change without prior notice

Entry into HCP:

  1. Do not come to HCP unless given an appointment by your crewing officer or crewing assistant. You must also meet the following requirements before entering the office:
    1. You are about to be dispatched
    2. You have tested negative for COVID-19
  2. No need to physically report to HCP offices. Report to your crewing officer or crewing assistant remotely via mobile, landline, video call, messenger etc.
  3. Document pick-up and drop off is allowed but only at the ground floor
  4. Job applications are purely online. Visit http://www.hartmannph.com/sea-based.php or send your resume to: oper-recruit@hartmannph.com

Inside HCP:

  1. Wear a mask and or face shield at all times
  2. Disinfect your hands often by washing with soap and water or alcohol
  3. Disinfect your shoes at the designated foot baths
  4. Answer the health declaration form upon entry at the ground floor
  5. Maintain a 6 feet distance between you and others. Huwag magkumpulan!
  6. Do not bring a companion into the building with you
  7. Proceed directly to your crewing assistant when you come for your appointment
  8. Do not make side trips to other HCP offices or visit other personnel if you were not instructed to do so by your crewing assistant or crewing officer
  9. ISNTC visitors, including crew, are not allowed to enter HCP’s premises at the 5th and 3rd floors

Other Concerns:

  1. Where can I process accounting concerns (ex. Travel cash advance)
    1. Contact your crewing officer or crewing assistant.
  2. Where can I inquire about crew benefits? (MAB Card, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-Ibig etc.)

  3. How do I attend my training with ISNTC?
    1. Coordinate with you crewing officer or crewing assistant for instructions and a training endorsement
  4. How do I process my documentary requirements?
    1. Your crewing officer or crewing assistant will give you instructions on how to accomplish documentary requirements remotely
  5. How will I get the right size of working clothes?
    1. Contact our Purchasing Department (0998 960 2158 or 0946 689 7566) and ask them to prepare working clothes for your size
  6. I’m planned to embark. How can I get tested for COVID-19?
    1. HCP will coordinate COVID-19 testing for all embarking crew. To ensure you remain virus-free even after testing, you must follow the quarantine rules seen below:

QUARANTINE RULES FOR CREW THAT ARE ABOUT TO EMBARK:
Embarking crew are required to quarantine after their COVID-19 test to ensure that they remain virus free when they travel.

Duration of Quarantine

Quarantine starts immediately after your RT-PCR test until you leave for your flight on embarkation day.

Allowable Quarantine Locations

  1. Home of crew provided there is a controlled space wherein he can isolate
    1.1 Those quarantined at home must have their own private transportation. Public commute is not allowed.
  2. Hotel room or rented space with own room around the Manila area
    2.1. Dorms wherein rooms are shared and crew leaves to buy or cook meals will not be allowed
    2.2. HCP will provide transportation for those in hotels and rented rooms
    2.3. Helpful tip! Checkout university areas in Manila for available rooms. Students will not be renting at this time due to the suspension of physical classes

    *HCP can move you to its secure holding facility but only after a negative COVID-19 test result

Quarantine Safety

  1. Wear a mask
  2. Do not move around your home or premises, keep to your room.
  3. Stay in a well-ventilated room preferably with an attached/separate toilet. If another family member stays in the same room, you must maintain a distance of at least 1 meter between each other
  4. Stay away from individuals that frequently go out (ex. Person that goes to the office, person doing errands)
  5. Do not share personal items especially for food and drink. Have your own plate, eating utensils, towel, and beddings that no one else will use
  6. Don’t share your cellphone. Do not leave it in common surfaces or rooms. Disinfect it often
  7. Frequently wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water
  8. Stay away from elderly people, pregnant women, children, and persons with co-morbidities.
  9. Do not leave to buy your meals. Have it delivered to your doorstep or ask a family member or friend to bring meals to you
  10. Do not leave or go on any errands. You are prohibited from leaving your house or hotel. All necessary errands must have been done before quarantine.

Keep a clean environment

Your household or hotel must clean and disinfect frequently touched or common surfaces as well as toilet surfaces using regular household bleach solution or disinfectants.

If you have a negative RT-PCR test result:

  1. All Quarantine Rules continue to apply after a negative RT-PCR test result to ensure you do not catch the virus
  2. If you do not have your own home o
  3. r means of private transportation, you may be transferred to HCP’s secure holding facility as you await your flight. Quarantine Rules of HCP’s holding facility shall be followed.

*If your test comes out positive, the government will take over.
