HCP Advisory: 7-14 Days Quarantine for Embarking Crew

The Mandatory Quarantine Period for embarking crew is currently at 7-14 days prior to embarkation.
This length of time ensures safety for all crew. We can be more certain that you are not carrying the COVID-19 virus, and will not infect anyone onboard or on your way to the vessel.

Due to the mandatory quarantine, please expect the following:

1. You have to be in Manila earlier to prepare for embarkation – More of your vacation time will have to be sacrificed in order to give time for document processing and PEME.

2. You may experience longer waiting time prior to joining – On top of the 7-14 day quarantine period, you may have to wait a little longer in case there are delays in the vessel’s arrival or a lack of available flights

Crew will receive a suggested routine to follow while in quarantine in order to help them stay healthy in mind, body, and spirit. Please bring books, puzzles, and your hobbies with you when you go into quarantine.

We are aware that this setup can be tough, especially when you are alone in quarantine for more than a week. It is not our intention to make things difficult for anyone. The main concern here is safety and the enemy is COVID-19. We need to implement these quarantine measures in order to stop the virus from spreading and making things worse.

We are appealing to our seafarers and their families for their understanding and cooperation amid the ongoing measures to fight COVID-19.
