HCP Unveils Artwork as Tribute to Founder and Seafarers
Hartmann Crew Philippines (HCP) recently unveiled commissioned artwork as a tribute to Hartmann Group Founder Capt. Alfred Hartmann to celebrate Hartmann Group’s 40th Anniversary and the 20th Anniversary of HCP on December 2, 2022.
HCP President Mr. Giovanni Tuapin and Ms. Divina Repedro enjoined Dr. Niels Hartmann, CEO of the Hartmann Group, and his wife Christiana during the unveiling rites.
The painting purports the connection of HCP with the Hartmann Group Founder, Capt. Alfred Hartmann with the depiction of the Philippine passport and the German seaman’s book bearing his position as Captain with details of the very first vessel owned by Capt. Hartmann, the EMS Liner. The seaman's book with the captain's photo which was taken exactly 20 years ago when Hartmann Crew Philippines, formerly Associated Ship Management, was officially opened.
The Philippine passport and the HCP Blue Book wherein important crew documents are kept and brought onboard are the accentuated elements in the artwork to represent the Filipino seafarers' aspirations as they symbolize opportunities, dreams and challenges that they face every time they go ashore leaving their families with hopes of a better future.
