HCP 16th Anniversary, looking back and moving forward

“Ang s’yang hindi tumatanaw sa kanyang pinanggalingan ay hindi makakapunta sa kanyang paroroonan,” (One who cannot look back and appreciate the past, will never be able to reach and see into his or her desired future) said Hartmann Crew Philippines Inc. President and CEO, Alberto L. Gomez during the celebration of the company’s 16^th anniversary last February 28, Wednesday.

In his speech, Gomez acknowledged the people behind the inception of the company during its early days up to the present— its seafarers and land-based staff.

“Dapat tayong magpasalamat sa mga taong ito dahil hindi tayo nagkaroon ng HCP at ISNTC kung hindi sa magandang trabaho at serbisyo ng mga taong ito.” (We need to thank the people whose exceptional work and service in the past had contributed to what HCP, including ISNTC [Intership Navigation Training Center] are today.)

Unique to this year’s celebration is the company’s 2018 campaign on Health Awareness.

During its anniversary celebration, a blood donation drive in partnership with Philippine Red Cross was conducted. This was participated by both employees and friends from HCP and ISNTC. Fifty-two bags of blood were successfully collected.

The celebration continued the next day, March 1, Thursday, as the Associated Marine Officers' and Seamen's Union of the Philippines (AMOSUP) came to conduct free medical checkups and ID issuance to its member-seafarers. There were also free massages, care of SR Foods Phils, to pamper all visitors.

In the afternoon, “Kapihan with CCFC” was transformed into an informative discussion with seafarers. Apart from the company updates, HCP invited speakers to offer talks on the following:
